From fantastical novels to a user's journey map, I've always been drawn to the way we use storytelling to find answers to questions and solutions to problems.
As a designer, I like to focus on the story. To dig deep and uncover the why. And then to orient solutions towards solving the right problems.
I'm the type of person who always has a project going on. Whether it's writing a book, composing music, drawing pixel art, or crafting a new ice-cream recipe, creating things is a huge part of who I am.
I recently earned two certificates in UX design, but I started thinking like a UX designer when I worked in the book publishing industry. As a literary agent for almost nine years, I led dozens of books through product development—practicing user empathy, product definition, brainstorming and ideation, prototyping, and testing. My job taught me how to tell a compelling story, and how to use that story to connect with the user.
I have also helped launch a start-up that provided new writers with professional evaluation, and developed mobile games.
Thanks for viewing my work! Let's make something great together.
